Bette Jean Zimmerman
Bette is survived by her three children: Julie Owens, of Arizona, Jeff Sybrandt of Plymouth, Minnesota, and Richard Zimmerman of Mabank, Texas. She is also survived by her grandchildren Shannon, Dylan, Cody, Austin and Mya.
Bette attended Mankato Business School, where she earned her associates degree. After which, she moved to St. Paul, Minnesota. Bette had an amazing 30+ year career with Aetna.
She then retired and split her time between Scottsdale, Arizona and Remsen, Iowa where she grew up. Bette was a perfectionist and it showed in her needlepoint, embroidery, and knitting. She loved to dance, play cards, board games and computer games.
Bette's wishes were to have a luncheon and a celebration of her wonderful life! The details of the celebration will be announced soon. The family askes that all flowers and memorials be held off until they have decided on a service date as they will be out of town until that time.
