Perry Lynn Presuhn, 62 of Remsen, IA died Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City, IA.
    Funeral Service will be friday, March 12, 2010 at 10 a.m. from Christ Lutheran Church LCMS in Remsen, IA with Pastor Dennis Martens officiating.  Burial will be in the Remsen Community Cemetery.  Visitation will be anytime after 4 p.m. Thursday, March 11, 2010.  There will be a prayer service at 7 p.m. all at Fisch Funeral Home & Monument in Remsen.  Visitation will resume Friday morning from 9 a.m. until service time at the church.  Come as you are, dad wouldn’t want it any other way.
    Perry was born May 6, 1947 at LeMars, IA, the son of Charles & Ruth (Hansen) Presuhn.  Perry was raised in the Remsen area and received his education at Remsen Union Community School.  During his high school years he played drums with his brother Randy and friends in their band the Rem-Dels.  He married Nancy Haack on July 2, 1966.  From this union three children were born, Shelia, Angela & Jason.  He enjoyed building and riding motorcycles.  He also loved to play cards, garden, going fishing and dancing.  He enjoyed his morning coffee crew, and gathering and visiting with all his close friends. 
    He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church LCMS in Remsen.
    Survivors include: Two daughters, Shelia Vannest & her husband Rick & her children Kayla & Austin all of Ponca City, OK, Angela Newland & her husband Rory & their child Amber all of Ponca City, OK; One son, Jason Presuhn of LeMars, IA & his children Joshua, Jessica, Jacob & Malaki.; One brother, Randy & Jane Presuhn & his children Shane & Troy all of LeMars, IA.  His special friends, Mina Brandt, Marvin Brandt & Dale Weiler.
    Preceded by: his parents, one brother Lamont & one sister Shannon both in infancy.
    Casket Bearers will be, Jim Hansen, Shane & Troy Presuhn, Chad Hansen, Rory Newland & Jerry Haack.
