Ronald E. Kluver, 68, of Omaha, NE and formerly of Remsen, IA died unexpectedly Sunday, January 8, 2017 at Methodist Hospital in Omaha, NE.
Funeral will be held at 11 am Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Fisch Funeral Home & Monument in Remsen, IA with Pastor Duane Meissner officiating. Burial will follow at the Remsen Community Cemetery in Remsen, IA. Visitation with family present will be from 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday at Fisch Funeral Home & Monument in Remsen. Services have been entrusted to Fisch Funeral Home & Monument of Remsen.
Ron was born July 31, 1948, at Le Mars IA the son of Herman and Della (Sonnichsen) Kluver. He was baptized and confirmed of the Lutheran Faith. He was raised and educated in the Remsen area and graduated from Remsen-Union High School in 1966. He then attended Mankato State University graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business.
He has 2 children, Jason who is married to Sunshine and a daughter Jessica who is married to Jason Baumeister. At the time of Ron’s passing he was married to Jacqueline (Jerrolds) Kluver. Ron was recently retired. He had worked 30 years as a salesman at Swift XL Four Star Beef and Washington Beef.
Survivors include: his wife Jacqueline of Omaha, NE; his mother Della Kluver of Remsen, IA; son, Jason (Sunshine) Kluver of Des Moines, IA; daughter, Jessica (Jason) Baumeister of Omaha, NE; brothers, Dennis Kluver of Sioux City, IA and Jim Kluver of Sioux Falls, SD; sisters, Dianna Kluver of Paradise Valley, AZ and Bonita (Rocky) Dunkelberger of Council Bluffs, IA; 9 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Herman Kluver and one sister, Lynette Kluver, his paternal grandparents, Dick & Anna Kluver, maternal grandparents, Hans & Anna Sonnichsen.
Casketbearers will be, David Sonnichsen, Steve Sonnichsen, Jason Baumeister, Marcus Kluver, Dylan Dunkelberger, Mike Sparr, Jason Seqenzia.
In Lieu of flowers memorial donations made be directed to the family.
