Ronald Majeres, 64 years old, of Orange City, IA, passed away Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012 At Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City, IA.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Alton, IA with Rev. Terry Roder officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Remsen, IA at a later date. Visitation will be anytime after 4 p.m., on Wednesday there will be a parish rosary at 5 p.m. & vigil prayer service at 7 p.m. all at the church. Service have been entrusted to Fisch Funeral Home & Monument of Remsen.
Ron was born Feb. 14, 1947, at LeMars, IA, the son of Leonard & Rosella (Vaske) Majeres. He was raised on a farm near Remsen and graduated from St. Mary’s High School in 1966. After school he worked at various place including, Wilson Foods, Wells Dairy, and Advance Brands.
Ron was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Alton. Ron enjoyed spending time with family. He also had a green thumb and loved caring for plants and was also a dog lover.
Survivors include; his Stepmother, Lorna Majeres of Orange City, IA; five brothers, Kevin of Sanborn, IA, Robert (Deb), Richard (Judy) both of LeMars, Donald (Rosie), Duane (Florine) both of Remsen. Numerous nieces & nephews.
Preceded by: his parents; one sister, Judy Majeres.
Casket Bearers will be: his brothers.
