Rose Mary Mai, 88 of Omaha, NE passed away Friday April 12, 2013 at Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Omaha, NE.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 16 22, 2013, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Remsen with Rev. William McCarthy and Deacon Rick Roder officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Remsen. Visitation will be any time after 4 p.m. on Monday, April 15, 2013. There will be a parish rosary at 5 p.m. and a vigil prayer service at 7:30 p.m. all at the Fisch Funeral Home & Monument in Remsen, IA.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years Marvin, her 3 children Connie Fillmore, Cathy (Robert) Flynn, and Mike (Anne) Mai as well as 9 beautiful grandchildren, and 20 beautiful great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Donna (Marvin) Pick, Father Richard Frank, and Jim (Shirley) Frank.
She is preceded in death by her parents Mike and Emma Frank brothers Emery (Emma) Frank, Lee (Ester) Frank, Donald, and sister Lorraine (Arnold) Steichen.
She will be greatly missed and forever remembered. We know we will be with her again in heaven some day and expect a toast upon our arrival.
