Barb was born Dec. 25, 1966 at Le Mars, IA the daughter of Donald & Virginia (Jellema) Konz. She was raised and educated in Remsen. She graduated from St. Mary’s High School in 1985.
On May 26, 1990 she married Gregory Dunnihoo at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Remsen. The couple made their home in Arlington, TX where Barb worked as a quality assurance analyst for GM Financial for 15 years.
Barb loved fishing, camping, playing volleyball, playing the clarinet in the school band, roller skating, crocheting baby blankets for local hospitals and reading Stephen King Books. Barb also collected Madonna statues. She loved watching wildlife and gathering fossils on her land in Palo Pinto, Texas. Watching the Dallas Cowboys and the Dallas Mavericks. She was also a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters.
Survivors include her husband Gregory Dunnihoo of Arlington, TX; her son, Johnathan Dunnihoo of Lubbock, TX; her daughter, Allyson Dunnihoo of Arlington, TX; her parents, Donald & Virginia Konz of Remsen, IA; sisters, Dawn Lammers of Hazelton, IA, Lynn Konz and Christa Konz both of Remsen, IA; several nieces, nephews, aunts & uncles;brother-in-law, sister-in-law, mother-in-law & father-in-law.
Casket bearers will be Duane Konz, Bruce Jellema, Nevin Lammers, Corey Grosenheider, Matt Grosenheider & Max Treinen.
Catholic Order of Foresters honorary bearers will be Morgan Konz, Marissa Lammers, Jordan Lammers, Alexis Lammers & Regan Konz.

4:00 - 7:00 pm (Central time)
There will be a Catholic Order of Foresters rosary and vigil prayer service at 5 p.m. all at Fisch Funeral Home & Monument in Remsen.

Saint Mary's Roman Catholic Church
Starts at 10:30 am (Central time)
Visitation will resume at 9:30 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
