Cindy Marie Stoos

Cindy Marie Stoos, age 77, of Remsen died on Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2025 at Floyd Valley Healthcare in Le Mars, Iowa.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2025 at Fisch Funeral Home & Monument in Remsen with Rev. Timothy Pick officiating. Visitation with family present will be 9:45-10:45 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Services have been entrusted to Fisch Funeral Home & Monument in Remsen. www.fischfh.com

Cindy was born on July 3, 1948 in Le Mars, Iowa to Clifford “Tip” & Mary (Boever) Franck. She was raised and educated in Remsen attending St. Mary’s Catholic School.

On May 15, 1965 she married Lawrence “Larry” Stoos at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Remsen, IA. The couple made their home in Remsen where they raised their four children.

Over the years Cindy was a hard worker and held many jobs. She worked at Barn Yard Basics, Remsen Apparel, Skeeter’s Mini Mart, Sinclair Gas Station, Avalon Ballroom and Mrs. B’s. Most of all she loved spending time with family.

Cindy is survived by her husband Larry Stoos of Remsen; three children, Ken Stoos of Vermillion, SD, Karen Stoos Tunink (Eric Manning) of Sutherland, IA, Craig (Tanya) Stoos of Sioux Falls, SD; grandchildren, Tyler (Courtney) Tunink of Sioux Rapids, IA, Tasha (Tom) Miller of Kiester, MN; great-grandchildren, Clara Tunink, Raymond Tunink & Carter Miller; her sister, Jane (Roger) Hendrix of Huntsville, AR.

She was preceded by her parent; her son, Keith Stoos; brothers, Richard Franck, Rodney Franck; sister, Jean Hendrix.
