Della Rae Ringel

Della Rae Ringel, 63, of Remsen, IA, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2020, at Floyd Valley Health Care in Le Mars, IA. 
Funeral Service will be 6 p.m. Monday Jan. 6, 2020 at Christ Lutheran Church LCMS in Remsen, with Pastor Garret Kasper officiating. Visitation with family present will be from 4-6 p.m. on Monday at the church.  Services have been entrusted to Fisch Funeral Home & Monument of Remsen, Iowa.
Della Rae was born February 9, 1956 to Donald and Dorris (McDiffett) Ringel in Wamego, KS. She was raised in Alma, KS where she received her education at  Council Grove High School graduating in 1974. She later graduated from WITCC with a degree in Horticulture. 
On Sept. 22, 1974 she married Jeffery Loutsch in Alta Vista,  KS. The couple lived and raised their family in Remsen, Iowa. Jeffery passed away in 1982. On February 27, 1988 she married Robert Van Donkelaar. They later divorced.  Over the years Della Rae worked at K-Products and various horticulture jobs including floral design at the Perfect Petal in Remsen. 
Della Rae was a member of Christ Lutheran Church LCMS in Remsen and Phi Theta Kappa Sorority. She had a love for plants, leather work, sewing, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren. She also loved traveling with her boyfriend Steve.
Della Rae is survived by her children; Teran Cross of Sioux City, Iowa,  Travis Loutsch of Ida Grove, Iowa, Tanda Smith of Battle Creek, Iowa, and Tierny Staab and fiancé Dustin Rosewall of Cherokee, Iowa. 13 grand children, two sisters Dianne Keylon of Alta Vista, Kansas, and Darla Hoggard of Tongananoxie, Kansas and Della Rea’s significant other Steve Staab of Remsen, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald Ringel and Dorris Taylor, husband; Jeffery Loutsch, Husband; Robert Von Donkelaar. Siblings; Dale Ringel, Deloris Bunton, Donna Y’Barbo, and Denise Martin.
