Irma Wersinger, of Maypearl, TX, formerly of Remsen, IA, died Thursday, July 19, 2012 at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas, TX.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, July 26, 2012, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Remsen with Rev. William McCarthy officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Remsen. Visitation will be anytime after 4 p.m. on Wednesday, July 25, 2012. There will be a parish rosary at 5 p.m. and a vigil prayer service at 7 p.m. all at the Fisch Funeral Home & Monument in Remsen. Condolences may be sent online to www.fischfh.com.
Irma was Born on March 10, 1924 in Granville, Iowa to Edward and Anna (Millenkamp) Budden, She was raised and educated in Granville and attended St. Joseph’s Catholic School in Granville, Iowa.
On Nov. 19, 1945 She married to Arthur Wersinger at Granville, Iowa. The couple made their home near Remsen where they farmed for many years.
Survivors include her daughter, Mary Jane Long & her husband Dennis, and Grandson Jonathan long, all of Maypearl, Tx.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her Brothers Raymond, Albert, Emil, Roman, Alfred, Norbert, and Edwin Budden, Her Sisters Mrs. Coletta Pottebaun, Mrs. Armella Hemmen, Mrs. Malinda Poeckes, and, Amelia Budden. Irma had daughters Nancy and Carole, along with son Larry Lee which passed away in infancy.
