Mark Kuester

Mark Allen Kuester, age 66 of Granville, IA, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Jan. 31, 2022at his home in Granville.

Services will be held at a later date.  Fisch Funeral Home & Monument in Remsen, IA is assisting the family with arrangements. 

Mark was born July 9, 1955 at Le Mars, IA, the son of Wesley & Audrey (Steichen) Kuester.  He was raised in Alton and received his education from Sioux Center High School.  He then lived in Orange City where he was employed at Diamond Vogel for 32 years.

On April 12, 2013 he married Denise Henry.  The couple then moved to Granville, IA.  He loved to spend many hours woodworking in his shop.  

Survivors include his wife Denise of Granville, IA; his son, Jonathan ( Jennifer) Kuester of Medford OR; 3 grandchildren; his brothers, Brad (Jane) Kuester of Iowa City, IA, Russell Kuester of Council Bluffs, IA, Ron Kuester of Eagle Grove, IA; his sisters, Deb (Roger) Jager of Doon, IA, Marlene (Tom) Dumin of Idaho.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Brian Kuester and sister, Lisa Kuester.
