Randy was born on May 18, 1954 to Marvin & Agnes (Schuver) Wiederholt. He grew up in Granville, Iowa and graduated from Spalding Catholic High School in 1972. His first marriage was to Meredith Bunkers of Remsen and from that union, two daughters were born, Cheri and April. He loved them dearly!

Even with its ups and downs, Randy loved his job as a long haul semi truck driver. He had many, many friends from coast to coast and enjoyed talking about his many adventures. It’s only fitting that he passed away in Montana, his favorite place. He was also an avid Harley rider and took great pride in his bike and the freedom that it gave him on the open road. He enjoyed his time with family and friends from near and far and also the special bond that he shared with his “son’s”, Beau and Waylon (his nephews). Randy always had a story to tell!

Survivors include: Two daughters, April Wiederholt, of Houston, TX and Cheri Waterhouse and husband Glenn of Bondurant, IA, four grandchildren, Quinn, Casi, Ali, and Aubri Waterhouse, his mother, Agnes Wiederholt of Granville, IA, and five sisters, Karen and Tom Pottebaum of Granville, IA, Jeanne Dooley and special friend, Virgil Hansen of Sioux Falls, SD, Dianne and Steven Mooney of Hawkins, TX, Linda and Don Nieland of Marion, IA, and Carmen and Jeff Donaldson of Sioux City, IA, nine nieces and nephews, Beau Zorgdrager, Amber Swanson, Katie Wilson, Waylon Swanson, Bryan Mooney, William Mooney, Amanda White, Tony Nieland, Brittni Donaldson, and their spouses and children, former brother-in-laws, Vernon Zorgdrager and Ken Swanson.
