Roger Lang, 85 years old, of Seattle, WA, died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2014, near Seattle.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 30, 2015, at the Remsen Community Cemetery with Pastor Petetersen officiating. Services have been entrusted to Fisch Funeral Home & Monument in Remsen.
Roger was born Sept. 30, 1929. He attended LeMars Community High School. He then attended Westmar College in LeMars graduating in 1951. He joined the US Navy and became an officer. In 1955 he taught biology & coached girls basketball for 3 years. He then reenlisted in the Navy where he served 20 years. He retired from the Navy in 1974.
He was survived by four children, Joan, Mike, Jefferey and Megan. Three live on the West Coast and Jeff lives in Missouri.
