Teri L. Austin “TT”, 51 of LeMars, IA and formerly of Council Bluffs and Malvern, IA passed away suddenly Thursday, Sept. 18, 2014 at Floyd Valley Hospital in LeMars, IA.
Funeral Service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2014 at Fisch Funeral Home & Monument in Remsen, IA, with Pastor Dennis Martens officiating. Visitation will be anytime after 5 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2014, there will be a prayer service at 7 p.m. all at Fisch Funeral Home & Monument in Remsen. Visitation will resume from 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday.
Teri was born April 15, 1963 at Mercy Hospital in Council Bluffs. She received her education at Thomas Jefferson High School graduating in 1981. She began working and held several positions over the years. The one that gave her the most fulfillment was serving as a 911 dispatcher for Mills, Pottawattamie, and Plymouth Counties in Iowa. Her happiest moments in life were spent with her children and grandchildren.
She will be lovingly remembered by her two children, Eric (Lisa) Selby of Alton, IA, and Megan Jalaine (Paul) Miner of LeMars, IA; 7 grandchildren, Ali, Ethan, Parker, Lexi, MaKenna, Jocelynn, Paxtyn; her parents, Dale and Lois Austin of Edgerton, KS; her brothers, Jeffrey Austin of Council Bluffs, Steven (Cheryl) Austin of Lawrence, KS, and two nieces.
Preceeded by, her paternal grandparents, Morris and Audrey Austin, maternal grandmother, Beulah Brownfield, Aunt Gloria Austin, two uncles, Lowell and Lanny Brownfield.
