Our History

Joseph V. and Adele Fisch bought the Nothem Funeral Home in June of 1943. Joseph graduated from the St. Louis School of Mortuary Science in 1933. After graduation he worked for area funeral homes until buying the funeral home that is still in the Fisch family.

In 1976 Joel and Jean Fisch took ownership of the funeral home, selling it to David in 2009.

The Fisch family has been providing trusted funerals for more than 75 years and is honored to continue the funeral home's tradition of being a family owned and operated business.
